Euro Credit Bank announces to its clients regarding the reconfiguration of existing multi-currency cards.

Euro Credit Bank informs its clients about a series of important changes regarding the issuance and management of multi-currency cards. The main changes include:

  1. We will cease issuing multi-currency cards. Starting from October 20, 2023, Euro Credit Bank aims to stop the issuance of new multi-currency cards.
  2. We are transforming multi-currency cards into single-currency cards. Following this restructuring, multi-currency cards will be reissued as single-currency cards. However, the currency will not be converted, and all funds available in the account will remain unchanged.
  3. We will retain secondary currency accounts with the option to attach separate cards: This change will provide clients with more flexibility in managing their accounts and transactions in different currencies.
  4. The transformation will take place over 60 days: The process of transforming the cards will occur over 60 calendar days from the date of this announcement. However, at the client's initiative, this can be done earlier.
  5. Cards in other currencies can be opened for free with a special offer: Euro Credit Bank offers every multi-currency cardholder the opportunity to open separate cards for each secondary currency account, benefiting from 12 months of free service. This offer is available for 3 months from the publication of this announcement.
  6. Cards in other currencies can be ordered remotely: Any multi-currency cardholder can request a card in the secondary currency through one of the available channels: a phone call to the number 022 500 200 or by email at cards@ecb.md. It is necessary to provide the fiscal code (IDNP), account number, or the last 4 digits of the multi-currency card number and the currency of the future card.
  7. The Contact Center team is here for you: Throughout the 60 days from the announcement's publication and the implementation of the multi-currency card format exchange, the Contact Center team will contact active multi-currency cardholders, communicating the new conditions and providing support in opening new cards in secondary currencies. The Euro Credit Bank team is available for any additional questions or assistance during this transition period. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
