At present, for the purposes mentioned above, the ECB may transfer certain categories of personal data outside the Republic of Moldova, to countries within the EU/EEA: Romania, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the United Kingdom, as well as outside the EU/EEA to the United States of America (in the case of transfers via SWIFT), also in the capacity of correspondent banks Hong Kong, China, and for international transfers Georgia. For transfers outside the EU/EEA, the ECB will base the transfer of personal data on the standard contractual clauses adopted at the European Commission level or other legally recognized safeguards.

It is possible that, in the course of its activities, the countries of transfer mentioned above may change.
